When it comes to facilitation skills, there are six of different styles you can use to intervene when;
- facilitating a meeting
- resolving an issue
- responding to the actions/behaviour of an individual/group
The styles are:
- Prescriptive
- Informative
- Confrontative
- Cathartic
- Catalytic
- Supportive
Understanding each of these and how to deploy them effectively is integral to becoming a more effective facilitator.
This video explores all six styles with James South and Heather Allen.
