All businesses, no matter their size, own intellectual property. But many do not understand its value and potential to raise finance. IP assets can be important tools in both exporting goods and services and in protecting investments and market share at home and abroad.
Valuable IP includes legal rights like patents, trade marks, designs, copyright and geographical indications. There are other intellectual assets such as trade secrets, contracts and databases that can also be leveraged.
Listen to our panel, including CBI International Director Andy Burwell and leading IP experts from CIPA, explain the importance of IP within the Government’s Global Britain agenda and how IP rights and other intangible assets can be used and managed to maximise export revenue streams.
This webinar was held in conjunction with the Department for International Trade (DIT) and the CBI as part of International Trade Week (15-19 November) and was introduced by Luke Jessop, Deputy Director for Procurement and Intellectual Property at the DIT.
