In June 2022, a global campaign took place to pilot a 4 day week – broadly employees received 100% pay for 80% of the working time in return for a commitment to 100% of the output. The UK pilot is now complete, with the majority of employers involved in the pilot calling it a success and retaining the 4 day week.
